Dear Patients,
We are writing to let you know of the opening of our new hybrid concierge practice, Vero Women’s Care, in January 2023. Vero Women’s Care will be located at 1255 37th Street, Unit A, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
At Vero Women’s Care we are united by the belief in delivering healthcare from a sense of honesty and compassion. In a world filled with distractions, we promise that being “present” for you and your healthcare needs will always be our priority. We are bonded by the shared calling to serve the community that we love so dearly. Our practice offers a complete and collaborative approach to your healthcare.
The healthcare industry is changing, and that change can be both exciting and scary. During these uncertain times, the providers at Vero Women’s Care have been collaborating on ways to improve healthcare in Vero Beach. The traditional insurance-based healthcare model prioritizes quantity over quality so that medical practices can survive. That survival often leaves the burden on the patient.
Physicians and patients have become frustrated, leaving us feeling demoralized by the state of our healthcare options. Traditional practices force providers to have patient loads in the thousands, resulting in rushed visits and the loss of personal relationships once valued between a patient and provider. In the end, the traditional healthcare model tends to result in a revolving door of providers. This leaves patients forced to renew trust and foster new relationships again and again.
The vision for Vero Women’s Care is simple, it’s about doing the right thing for our patients. The world women live in is complicated and busy. Whether we are mothers, friends, adventurers, business leaders or just wanderers, we all deserve to be heard. Vero Women’s Care is passionate about providing current evidence-based medicine and working collaboratively with multiple specialties to individualize women's health needs. We need quality care that is accessible and convenient.
Vero Women’s Care was designed for women by women. The exceptional care among some of the highest rated providers will include gynecology, minimally invasive surgery (with robotics), primary care medicine, psychology, pelvic floor therapy, nutrition, and aesthetics. - Prompt communication with a physician through cell phone, text messaging, or email to discuss your medical concerns (and NO telephone phone tree!)
- In office lab draws at your convenience
- In office Ultrasounds to evaluate the uterus and ovaries
- Assistance and coordination of imaging services
- Supporting and facilitating medication and radiology authorizations and appointment efficiently
- Opportunity to address multiple concerns during a single visit in a relaxed and unhurried environment
- A physician with full hospital privileges will be on call for you
- Reduced likelihood of emergency room and urgent care visits
We offer a traditional care model for gynecologic referrals ONLY with Dr. Bruce and Dr. Crawford. Your physician can refer you to Vero Women’s Care for a gynecologic consultation through a non-member service. Once the referral has been received you will be contacted promptly to schedule an appointment. Once the problem has been addressed you may return to your referring physician. We are credentialed with most major insurances.
Our practice design is a hybrid concierge practice offering primary and gynecological care, as well as other subspecialities, with a limited number of patients so the at we can focus on professional expert care that is prompt and convenient.
